RETURN POLICY

Here at African Gift Bags (Formally Essential Time Co.) we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. Please read our return policy carefully.

  1. We encourage customers to ask questions, so that they can be knowledgeable about what they are purchasing.
  2. We inspect our products when we add them into our inventory.
  3. We inspect our products once again before we ship them to the customer.
  4. We provide large pictures of the product, so you see exactly what you are buying.
  5. We generally ship via UPS, USPS, and insure our packages.
  6. We are not responsible for delays, mistakes, errors, etc. that are made by UPS, or the US Post Office, but we will make every effort to remedy any delivery mishap.
  7. If your package is damaged or lost in transit by UPS, or the US Post Office the corresponding carrier's guidelines will be followed concerning replacement and reshipment. For UPS, this generally means a waiting period of 14 days from the time the package was supposed to be delivered. For the US Post Office, this generally means a waiting period of 30 days from the time the package was supposed to be delivered. We will keep you informed of the carrier's progress.
  8. Absolutely no returns on used items.
  9. Items purchased may be returned in their original packaging with no damage within 7 days from the date of delivery. A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount. Buyer must pay return shipping via UPS or USPS insured.
  10. We will accept returns on most items as long as they are not damaged, soiled, or have damaged packaging. The item MUST be resalable. The item must be returned in the exact condition that we sent it.
  11. We will not pay for return shipping.
  12. We will not be responsible if the item returned is lost or damaged during shipping. We recommend using a secure return shipping method with insurance.
  13. We will not give a credit for shipping paid for a product to be sent to you.
  14. We will give you a credit on all returned items to be used at www.kwanzaalights.com. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS!
  15. We must be notified by telephone (see below), so we can give you a return authorization number before you ship the product back. We will refuse any packages sent back without a return authorization number.
  16. All returns must be made within seven (7) days from the date the package is received by the customer.
  17. When free shipping is offered on a product, we will deduct the normal shipping is offered on a product, we will deduct the normal shipping charge for that item before giving a credit.
  18. If a free gift is given with a product, by itself, or as a promotional gift it cannot be returned for a credit.
  19. Wholesale customers - absolutely no returns. Damaged products may be exchanged if we are notified within 24 hours of you receiving the product. We must be notified by telephone, so we can give you a return invoice number before you ship the product back.
